I’m a Digital Fine Artist, Sculptor and Writer based in São Paulo state’s countryside. I love art and have worked with some of its many forms.
Adding to the before mentioned, film production and screenwriting are some other things I’ve done in the last 30+ years.
My formal studies, in drawing, painting, and filmmaking, began in the early 70’s at school, with private tutors and later at the Escola Panamericana de Arte as preparation for the exams to architecture college admission.
In 1984, I left FAU-USP (Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo) college to learn Computer Graphics at the Academy of Art University (formerly College) in San Francisco where also attended training in design and colors; a new improvement to my journey into becoming a digital fine artist.
In the early 90’s I worked as a producer, screenwriter, conceptual designer and sound conceptual director in some Brazilian film productions.
In the mid 90’s the internet became a new challenge and an over-800 page farming website was created by Agro Virtual, a family company that for which I was both a creator and director.
Since then my artistic activities have become increasingly more virtual, concentrating today, 90% of my artwork. As a digital fine artist, I remained semi-amateur until 2010, when I embraced, as a designer and colleague, a partnership with my daughter in our studio, C Junqueira – Surface Pattern Design.
I also have several artwork galleries on the internet where several types of prints can be purchased online.
