Digital Seattle Art Prints

My journey on the road to digital painting America’s scapes and Landmark, could not be satisfactory without a few Seattle art prints. I find the city one of the most exciting and beautiful ones in the in the US.

This artistic giclee can go well with any mediums, but I find it perfect with a Sommerset Velvet paper to enhance its watercolor style.

Digital Seattle Art PrintsWith a urban area of approximate 3.6 million in population, Seattle, a Pacific Coast  coastal port, is the most sizable city in the Northwest region of North America.

About a 100 miles down from Vancouver, Canada, it has taken shape as a major portal for commerce with Asia and the third largest container dock in North America.

Populated by native inhabitants since at 2,000 BC, the Seattle zone admitted its first european colonists when the Denny Party, led by Arthur A. Dennyand, arrived from Illinois on November 13, 1851, many years after George Vancouver had visited the area while mapping the Northwest in the 18th century.

As many other American places, the settlement received a denomination of native heritage. It was named after Chief Si’ahl, a local tribes chief, in 1852.

The city soon evolved to several production activities, but its first major industry was Logging. Becoming a major business and shipbuilding center in the late 19th century, during the Gold Rush, Seattle became one of the top 30 cities in the country.

After the devastating Depression, and by the end of The Second Great War, Boeing was structured there as a hub for airplane fabrication.

Furthermore the area became a giant high tech bureau in the 80’s, when Microsoft and other computer related companies were established in the region.

The prints you have are a very good idea for many reasons from the savings in comparison to actual paintings and the variety you can select what you’d like to have on your walls.
