Robert A.M. Stern designed and opened the Award winning New England nautical-themed Disney’s Yacht in 1990. The resort is stylish enough to serve a five-star admiral but is still great for kids.
Renovated in 2009, with an impressive clean decor and great fresh scent, the lobby looks fantastic and very well maintained.

Special seafaring touches are present all over; Grounds of the resort and guest rooms are navy-like colored with nautical stripes decks and balconies spread throughout the whole hole facility. Non-gated patios, with table settings, can be seen decorating the rooms that can accommodate up to 8 people depending on the type chosen.
The slightly more formal,Yacht club shares infrastructure and management with The Beach Club. Both also share:
Stormalong Bay, one of the nation’s largest sand bottom pools with “mini-waterpark”. Featuring a sand bottom swimming area, lazy river, and other wonderful theme features; the pool has one of the highest resort waterslides at Walt Disney World.
Convention Center – with a 73,000 square feet area the complex has two large ballrooms, 21 breakout rooms and essentially makes these resorts aptitude focused for business clientele.
Crossing the Path Crescent Lake you will reach Disney’s BoardWalk Resort and shopping area, another wonderful place to have breakfast, spend an afternoon or evening.
