An Art Prints Demand Short Review

Internet Factor

The internet plays a key factor to that as e-commerce is growing and growing.

The Hiscox Online Art Trade Report, 2015, predicts that the online art market will rise to $6.3 billion by 2019. $4.7-billion above 2013. And the art prints demand is highly probable to follow that.

A system of certification will be needed in an important market as that to provide the same kind of advantage as buying directly from an artist or gallery.

Seem to me that signed certificates from the author or curator could be a fair solution for that matter, bringing a sense of more “serious art” for the average buyer.

Improvements in Art Prints Demand

This improvement brings benefit to both the artist and the average common collector.

While at lower prices, the artist gets to sell more, therefore his exposure is increased and at a faster rate reaching costumers from farther regions.

The common collector that cannot afford the, traditionally so-called, legitimate art, is able to buy top quality prints that he can be proud to hang on his wall.  While an original would have to be bought for thousands of dollars to compensate the artists’ efforts, the same sized image print can be purchased for 5 to 20 times less money, depending on the artist’s, reputation, who would be compensated by scale.

This is a good idea. Would the prints be already framed or would they just be the prints? I would be interested in seeing some of these prints. You are right about not being able to afford original prints. It would be great though to have a print like the original but at a lot cheaper price.

      Hello, Gloria,

Thank you for stopping by and leaving your remarks. /// The prints can be fashioned in a variety of ways as you can see on this article here, including frames that you can select according to you taste. Fine Art America provides an internal application that lets you test all combinations. They are the largest and best print on demand service in the market. You can also find the same testing device if you go to my personal shop tab on the blog header.

      Art for everyone!

      Hello, Tabby,

A Fine Art Print, aka “Giclee, is a reproduction of graphic art made with high quality ink, on high quality medium with a high quality printer.
No, she will not find it an advantage to sell her artwork on my site (I’m not on a gallery plan), but she can sell her artwork on Fine Art America as you can see following through this article. For that, she will need to scan her work, or, as an alternative, have it photographed following a specific procedure.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving your remarks.
