Not-Really-Abstract Giclee Art is an artwork that resembles an abstract but it’s really not. Take a look at this small township inspired on Manabu Mabe.
I have always been intrigued by how much of non-reality is there inside an abstract work. How much comes from feeling; how much from reality and memory? The challenge of trying to make an abstract from something that is not can be quite stimulating.
The above figure was project initiated by my brother for a township themed open mall in the city of Ribeirão Preto – SP – Brazil. I created the 3D sketch. The project did not go on, but I turned the 3D image into this abstract-like scene.
