Looking for a Tower of Terror art print? Check this out! This is my tribute to a fabulous ride at Hollywood Studios – Walt Disney World.
Let me say something first: I am a huge fan of Universal Studios Florida.
In my opinion, Hollywood Studios is the Disney version of Universal and everyone would expect it to be a lesser park, right? Wrong!
When you pass the gates and enter this park, you find something that is not as easily available at its inspiring version: Hollywood Glamour!
Walking along Hollywood Boulevard gives you that exciting sensation of being in 20th-century Los Angeles. You turn right on Sunset Boulevard and there it is: The abandoned hotel that inspired this Tower of Terror art print, can be seen from far in the Walt Disney World complex.
“The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, commonly known as the Tower of Terror, is an accelerated drop tower dark ride located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Tokyo DisneySea, Walt Disney Studios Park, and formerly located at Disney California Adventure.
Except for the Tokyo version, the attractions are inspired by Rod Serling’s anthology television series, The Twilight Zone, and take place in the fictional Hollywood Tower Hotel in Hollywood, California.
The Tokyo version, which features an original storyline not related to The Twilight Zone, occurs in the fictional Hotel Hightower.
All three versions take place inside a seemingly ordinary hotel elevator, and present the riders with a fictional backstory in which people have mysteriously disappeared from the elevator under the influence of some supernatural element many years prior.”
