Like art that tries to change reality? Here is just a humble example of Visionary Art Prints, a very arid roundabout that was enhanced.
I’ve always had a passion for scenic pictures and wanted to try my luck with visionary art prints. If you like artwork that tries to change reality, here is just a small example.
A couple of years ago. I took a picture of a very arid roundabout in my hometown and decided I wanted to make it look better in an artwork.
The first thing I did here was: take several pictures at the same spot from different angles of the roundabout.
Then, I made a composition for a very wide-screen shot of the place that would serve as the base for my final picture.
My next move was inside a 3D software environment.
The widescreen source image went as texture to a plane in the back of the “stage”.
In front of that, I placed several objects: light sources, trees, grass textured walkways, two human figures, planes with pictures of stores we don’t have here and the biker, and many others. Then that scene was rendered to a “raw” JPG image file.
Inside Corel Painter and Photoshop I post-worked the picture to get a “brushy” style.
